You know all too well that these moments will pass by in the blink of an eye.

WHAT TO EXPECT
When booking a session with me, I will talk with you about you, your family, and your life during your pre-session consultation. You will also receive a questionnaire that gives you the opportunity to tell me all the things that make you, well you. I take this very seriously because getting to know my clients ahead of time allows me to plan a session that will document what your little slice of life is like right now at this very moment. Before your session, you will find me to be very helpful and friendly as you prepare to have portraits taken. I'm here to help!

At the time of your session, I will take a few moments at the beginning to talk with you about our 'game plan' for the session so that everyone knows what to expect. If you have children, the first thing I will do is to get down on their level, talk with them, and get silly so that they feel comfortable for the session. Taking this time helps to allow children to be themselves in front of the camera...plus, I just love kids! I am very flexible with your session timing. Sometimes kids (and husbands!) need to wrap up early. Sometimes we need more time to coax a shy little one out of his or her shell. I'm warm, caring, easy to talk to, and have a great sense of humor. We will have a tremendous amount of fun together. My goal is to give you a mix of relaxed portraits and 'stolen moments', photographs that show your connections with each other or the little details that make your heart sing. I try and stay away from the use of a lot of props or trendy poses, preferring to instead focus on the moment, details, connections, and love right in front of me.
After your session is over, I do not waste any time finding an image or two that stands out to share on social media as a sneak peek. Usually this is done within 24-48 hours of your session. Don't forget to 'like' my photography page on Facebook so that you will see your sneak peek right away and can share it with all your loved ones. Your gallery of at least 35 images with a print release (many times there will be more!) will be delivered to you within three weeks of your session. Your session fee includes all of the digitals in your gallery. As a busy mom, I'm all too guilty of not printing my family photographs so I am happy to provide a $50 credit for my clients to use towards the purchase of high-quality prints, albums, and products so that you will not find yourself in the same boat (with the exception of mini-sessions). You may share your password protected online gallery with all of your family and friends.
